I’m Susan Schulz, an award-winning storyteller dedicated to helping scientists across diverse fields achieve their communication goals.

For over a decade, I've had the privilege of working closely with scientists in academia, government, and healthcare, delving into the heart of their passions and motivations. I bring a unique blend of journalistic expertise and empathetic insight to help every client unravel the narratives within their work, making it not only comprehensible but captivating.

Prior to launching my consulting firm, I lent my science communication skills to the Muscular Dystrophy Association and The New York Academy of Sciences, and worked as an “Advocate for Curiosity” for the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science. I also enjoyed a successful career in magazines, holding exciting leadership roles at respected brands including Cosmopolitan and Good Housekeeping. Because of the distinctive skill set I possess – and the appreciation expressed by my clients – I call myself The Scientist Whisperer.
